PTI’s Asad Khokhar wins PP-168 Lahore by-polls: unaccepted results

Khokhar won a by-polls by securing 17,579 votes. He was followed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) hopeful Rana Khalid Mehmood, who cumulative 16,892 votes.

Meanwhile, PTI supporters hold a fireworks arrangement outward a bureau of Asad Khokhar celebrating his feat in a by-election.

The chair was vacated by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) personality Khawaja Saad Rafique, after he was inaugurated as a member of a National Assembly.

Pakistan Peoples Party had announced to support a PML-N in a by-election.

Polling for a by-election started during 8am and continued until 5pm on Thursday.

According to a Election Commission of Pakistan, there were 126,912 purebred electorate in a subdivision with 83 polling stations set adult for voters.

Authorities had requested for Rangers’ participation during a by-polls, while a army was on stand-by.
