2 persons die in cylinder blast

ISLAMABAD-At least two persons were killed and two others injured in a cylinder blast at a filling factory in the Rawat Industrial Area here on Saturday morning.

According to the details, the cylinder blast occurred at around 8:30am in Modern Gases, Industrial Area, Islamabad (Oxygen/Nitrogen filling factory). The deceased include Adnan son of M Irfan (40), resident of Rawat Rawalpindi, and Manthar Ali son of Haji Malik (43), resident of Morgah Rawalpindi. The dead bodies were shifted to DHQ Rawalpindi. The injured were identified as Sarfaraz son of Tufail (32), resident of district Attock and Mukarram Khan son of Muhammad Iqbal (32), resident of district Attock. The ambulances and fire tenders immediately rushed to the site and shifted the injured to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.
