46 more cops transferred in  Islamabad

ISLAMABAD-Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanveer has issued transfer and posting orders of some 46 cops here on Saturday, informed a police spokesman.

Of the 44 cops, eight were sub inspectors, 16 assistant sub inspectors, seven head constables and 15 constables, he added. 

A notification in this regard has also been issued by the SSP Operations Islamabad, he said. According to him, all the cops have assumed their charges following the directions of SSP Operations. He said there would be more reshuffling is expected in capital police in upcoming days. 

Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Punjab Highway Patrol Rawalpindi Region Sajid Kiani has promoted seven constables to the rank of head constables, according to a spokesman.
