AC Cantt seals 6 shops on violation of corona SOPs

Rawalpindi-Assistant Commissioner Cantt Rawalpindi on Sunday sealed six shops and imposed a fine of Rs10,000 for violating COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures during raids in various markets of the cantonment areas.  

According to a district administration spokesman, shops were sealed on Bank Road, Hassan Plaza in Saddar area.  

She was accompanied by Special Magistrate Saleem Butt. Notices were also affixed on the shops sealed during the operation launched against the rules violators.

The spokesman informed that the District Commissioner had directed the assistant commissioners and magistrates to remain in the field and ensure strict implementation of the SOPs and other preventive measures issued by the government to contain spread of coronavirus.  

The DC urged the citizens to adopt all possible precautionary measures against corona as implementation of SOPs is inevitable to control spread of the virus.
