Bee attack at burial in Khanewal injures 70
KHANEWAL: At least 70 people sustained wounds as honey bees attacked people who were performing burial of a woman in Khanewal.
According to a private news channel, the incident took place when villagers arrived at graveyard for the burial of Chaudhry Riaz’s wife, resident of L-126/15, and someone from the gathering hurled stone at the beehive.
Some people saved their lives by jumping in a puddle.
Twelve victims are reported severely injured who were shifted to the Tehsil Hospital for treatment. – APP
