Comilla Victorians won the toss and elected to field in the match.
Batting first, Rangpur Riders were bowled out for 97 in 17.1 overs with only two of their batsmen scoring in double figures.
Brendon McCullum hit two fours a six to score 24 runs from 31 balls while Mohammad Mithun made 17 runs from 14 balls with three fours to his name.
Mahedi Hasan was the pick of the bowlers as he grabbed four wickets in his four overs while Mohammad Saifuddin took three wickets in his three overs as well. Hasan Ali and Al-Amin Hossain dismissed two Rangpur batsman each.
