ISLAMABAD – Pakistan People’s Party yesterday alleged that the federal government had pushed the provinces into a crisis. PPP Parliamentarians Central Information Secretary Shazia Atta Marri said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had handed over the country to the International Monetary Fund. Marri added that the government had also plunged federation and the provinces into unending financial crisis.
She said that federal government had deprived provinces of their due share of National Finance Commission which was unconstitutional act.
She maintained that federal government had made it a norm to cut Sindh province’s funds under the National Finance Commission award.
“In this regard, the federal government is doing injustice with the provinces.
The price of electricity has been increased before the start of summer season and government is being run by squeezing the blood of the people,” she contended.
