Corruption cases: Sharjeel Memon to be announced ‘proclaimed offender’
KARACHI: The routine has been instituted to announce a self-exiled PPP personality Sharjeel Inam Memon, as ‘proclaimed offender’ in cases relating to crime and bootleg subsidy of lands, a burden justice sensitive a SHC on Wednesday.
This was settled in a news filed by a presiding officer of a burden justice where NAB has filed dual crime references before a SHC.
The presiding officer pronounced that Memon unsuccessful to seem in justice to face conference notwithstanding receiving pre-arrest bail from a high justice compartment Jan 31. Therefore, a routine has been instituted to announce him as an absconder and sum per his properties have also been sought.
Meanwhile, a NAB special prosecutor sensitive a dais that Memon’s protecting bail had expired. Headed by Justice Muhammad Farooq Shah, a bench, however, shelved conference compartment Feb 17.
