ECP strictly announces Arif Alvi as new President of Pakistan

According to a central results, Arif-ur-Rehman Alvi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has been inaugurated a subsequent President of Pakistan by securing 3 hundred and fifty dual votes.

PML (N) corroborated claimant Maulana Fazlur Rehman bagged one hundred and eighty 4 votes and PPP’s claimant Aitzaz Ahsan one hundred and twenty 4 votes.

In all, one thousand one hundred and 10 members of a National and provincial assemblies and a Senate exercised their right to vote. During a tabulation routine carried out by Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza in Islamabad today, one thousand and eighty dual votes were announced current and twenty 8 votes invalid.

In a National Assembly and a Senate, Arif Alvi took dual hundred and twelve votes, Fazlur Rehman one hundred and thirty one and Aitzaz Ahsan eighty one.

In Punjab Assembly, Arif Alvi bagged thirty 3 votes, Maulana Fazlur Rehman twenty 5 and Aitzaz Ahsan one vote. In Sindh Assembly, Arif Alvi cumulative twenty dual votes, Aitzaz Ahsan thirty 9 and Maulana Fazlur Rehman zero.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Arif Alvi took forty votes, Maulana Fazlur Rehman thirteen and Aitzaz Ahsan three.

In Balochistan Assembly, Arif Alvi got forty 5 votes, Maulana Fazlur Rehman fifteen while no opinion was polled in preference of Aitzaz Ahsan.
