First round: Balloting for collateral affectees on Aug 10

In line with a recently-announced customary handling procedures (SOPs) to rehabilitate and accommodate affectees of Islamabad, a Capital Development Authority has announced a balloting dates.

“Balloting will be hold on Aug 10 during a Convention Centre. Cases that have been authorized before Aug 9 will be enclosed in a initial turn of balloting,” notices released by a Capital Development Authority (CDA) read.
The second turn of balloting is approaching to take place on Aug 17 during a same venue. Residential plots will be allotted to a affectees by open balloting, that will be hold as per a manners tangible in a SOP’s and a Land Sharing Policy 2017. The plots to be distributed by a CDA Land Directorate are situated in opposite sectors of Islamabad, including Sectors D-13, E-13 and C-16.
CM orders surety measures opposite floods
CDA has asked a affectees to record their cases before a ballots are held, and that no conflict would be entertained afterwards. Earlier this week, Islamabad Mayor and CDA Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz had announced new measures to safeguard that affectees are allotted plots in a pure manner.
