Hamza rejects reports of rifts within Sharif family
LAHORE: Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, the son of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, on Tuesday flew to London on a private visit.
According to our correspondent, Hamza Shahbaz left for London for a personal visit.
His visit came amid speculations that Hamza is not taking part in campaign of his aunt Kulsoom Nawaz, who is PML-N candidate for upcoming by-poll in NA-120, Lahore.
Hamza, while speaking to reporters, dismissed the impression, saying that there is no rift among the Sharif family members. He said Kalsoom Nawaz is like his mother. “I am running her election campaign considering it my own election.”
Hamza said he has formed committees on the ward level as per the responsibility he was assigned by the party leadership. – Samaa
