ICT admin takes steps to improve service delivery

ISLAMABAD-The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has taken several initiatives to improve service delivery to the residents of the capital city.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat and SSP Operations Syed Mustafa Tanweer visited different commercial areas of the capital as part of the campaign to improve service delivery. They visited Sector F-10 and F-11 so as to resolve the issued as anti-encroachment operation, action against professional beggars, traffic management. “We are coming to your area to resolve your issues,” said the Deputy Commissioner in a social media message. As part of our campaign to provide service delivery at doorstep, the ICT administration has taken many initiatives as facilitation for rural areas so that people don’t have to visit the offices.

 They have also launched “City App Islamabad” which is providing 43 different services at a click. Service at doorstep initiative where the residents can call the officials to their house for getting services include ‘Khuli katchehris,’ ‘Online katchehris,’ and ‘Durust Dam’ app where the residents can check prices at app and order with no delivery charges, digitisation of excise department so that the vehicle-owners can get their taxes paid through mobile banking apps and online appointments through City App Islamabad. The officials said that the administration was visiting different sectors to meet people and resolve issues there and then.
