IGP Islamabad transfers 9 SDPOs

Islamabad-Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman has issued transfer and posting orders of nine Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) here on Friday.

In this regard, a notification has also been issued by the Additional Inspector General (AIG) Establishment on behalf of the capital police chief.

According to details, IGP Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman has transferred DSP/SDPO Sihala Rukhsar Mehdi and posted him as DSP Crime Investigation Agency (CIA). DSP CIA Hakim Khan has also been changed and posted as SDPO Ramna by the IGP.

DSP Khalid Mehmood Awan, who was serving as SDPO Ramna, was transferred and posted as DSP Investigation (Rural) besides giving an additional duty as PSO to DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmed Kausar. SDPO Saddar Zone Syed Sajjad Haider Bukhari has been transferred from his office and assigned the task as DSP Headquarters.

Munawar Ali, who was serving as DSP Traffic, replaced Sajjad Haider Bukhari as new SDPO Saddar Zone.

IGP Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman also transferred DSP Headquarters Iqbal Hussain and posted him as SDPO Secretariat while Ulfat Arif, DSP Logistic Division, was posted as SDPO Sabzi Mandi. 

Muhammad Nawaz, the former SDPO Sabzi Mandi, has been posted as DSP SSG with additional charge of the post of DSP (Special Branch).

The capital police chief also transferred DSP Israr Ahmed Arain from office of DSP SSG and posted him as DSP Traffic.
