Inciting Speech: Supreme Court gives Nehal time till June 16 to submit reply

During today’s appearance before the court which comprises the three-member bench looking after over the implementation of the judgment of five-member larger bench of the apex court.

During his appearance in the court Nehal said hat those who used him to give the speech would also appear before the court. Imran Khan is a co-accused he too should be produced with me, he added.

Pleading to court not to punich him before hearing him Nehal said that he had not received the text of his statement Nehal Hashmi plead the court to grant him time to submit his reply.

Nehal asked the court to show the video on his speech in the court to which Justice Ijaz-ul-Hassan said that there was no need to do that.

Granting time to Nehal the court later adjourned the hearing till June 16.

Talking to media outside Court

Talking to media after the hearing Nehal Hashmi claimed that the infuriating speech over which the apex court has initiated proceedings against him ‘was a speech of a patriotic Pakistani and that during its nonstop play for straight 24 hours it was twisted’. I told the court that excess was committed to me, an ‘innocent’ Nehal Hashmi said to the media.

Without giving name or a hint Nehal ‘informed’ the media that “a certain power wants clash of the institutions.”
