Islamabad reports less than 50 Covid-19 cases

ISLAMABAD – Islamabad has reported 45 Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours along with one more death. The total number of cases in the territory has risen to 106,402 while the death toll is 937. Meanwhile, the country reported 893 cases and 24deaths. 

Punjab has reported 256 Coronavirus cases and 12 deaths. The total number of cases has increased to 437,572 and the death toll in the province is 12,833. Gilgit-Baltistan reported three more cases and Azad Jammu and Kashmir reported five more Covid-19 cases with no new deaths reported in either region. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa detected 149 new Coronavirus cases and six more fatalities in the last 24 hours. The province’s tally of infections has risen to 176,650 while the death toll has reached 5,679. Meanwhile, Balochistan has logged six new infections, taking its total to 33,114 while the death toll remains 352, according to the NCOC.

Pakistan has reported nearly 14,000 recoveries from Coronavirus in the last 24. The total number of recoveries has risen to 1,208,438 while the national recovery rate stands at 95.6 per cent. Meanwhile, 2,013 virus patients are in critical condition with no new additions in the last 24 hours. Positivity rate across the country remained 1.69 per cent.
