ISLAMABAD: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing a statute Sharif family’s offshore resources and purported crime has termed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar “dishonest and deceitful.”
In a report, a JIT questioning Panama Papers box submitted to a Supreme Court this week, a six-member group led by Wajid Zia also reveals their observations on a statements done by a Sharif family members while being interrogated.
Regarding a PM’s son-in-law’s appearance, a JIT says that he was positively evasive, neutral and suppositional while recording his statement.

“He (Capt Safdar) was untruthful, dishonest, treacherous and sleek on many accounts, displaying wanting conduct,” a JIT news states. “His importance was on propagating that he was rarely upright, self-contained and an eccentric person, that was unsuitable with a contribution brought out by him during a proceedings.”
The news states that Sadfar told a JIT that he along with other family members was receiving an stipend from Mian Muhammad Sharif, a PM’s father, while in outcast in Jeddah and thereafter. This was in serve to a day-to-day losses also being supposing by Muhammad Sharif to family members.
Safdar was receiving about 1,500 Saudi Riyal per month and this use is still continuing, however, according to a JIT report, notwithstanding steady questions, he did not hold a source of his stipend after Muhammad Sharif’s death.
