KWSB disconnects illegal water hydrant, two illegal connections in Karachi

The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board launched a crackdown against illegal water connections and disconnected on Sunday night an illegal water hydrant and two illegal connections. 

KWSB Managing Director Asadullah Khan ordered the board’s enforcement cell and HTM department to take action against water thieves.

They conducted raids in Ayub Goth Scheme 33 and found an illegal hydrant.

They also found two illegal six-inch diametre connections attached to the main 36-inch diametre line.

The operation was headed by enforcement director Tabish Raza Hasnain and executive engineer HTM Agha Ahmed Ali Durrani. The police accompanied the team.
