KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Standing Committee on LPG Chairman Irfan Khokhar pronounced on Wednesday that liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices were augmenting fast as rates in Lahore reached Rs100 per kilogramme within 4 years.
Two LPG vessels incited away, necessity feared
LPG prices have been revised upwards for a third time in 3 days with increases of Rs5 for a kg, Rs60 on domestic cylinders and Rs240 on blurb cylinders. The sum boost has now turn Rs30 for a kg, Rs350 for domestic cylinders and Rs1,380 for blurb cylinders.
Fearing shortage, LPG selling firms reject cost ceiling
High direct and supply necessity had authorised a prices to ascend with approaching LPG crisis, Khokhar said. “Local LPG producers are fleecing people due to a necessity and it will continue if LPG is not imported,” Khokhar claimed, adding protests would be organized in a nearby future.
