NAWABSHAH: Abdul Rauf Siddiqui of a Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) stepped down Tuesday as a claimant for a National Assembly in foster of his Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) counterpart, Sardar Sher Mohammad Rind, Geo News reported.
Siddiqui was to foe a choosing from the NA-213 constituency, as a deputy of a MQM-P. The competition, that narrowed down after his exit, now comprises Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) claimant Asif Ali Zardari and Dr Qadir Magsi of a Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP), detached from Rind.
The MQM-P carefree announced his withdrawal from a candidacy during a dilemma assembly final night in Nawabshah’s Manoabad neighbourhood.
With this domestic alliance, he explained, Zardari will “surely be defeated”.
