  • April 21, 2019

Thirty-one Pakistani celebrities came under one roof for the promotion of education in the country.

The people belonging to the Pakistani music and entertainment industry collaborated for the new song, Taare. The song was released on April 16.

The celebrities include Mizmaar’s Rasheed, Alycia Dias, Abbas Ali Khan, Ahsan Bari and Rafay Israar from Sounds of Kolachi, Natasha Baig, Fahad Ahmed, Zhalay Sarhadi, Nazia Zuberi, Hira Mani, Usman Riaz, Umar Naru, Ali Khan, Alfred D’mello, Saif Abbas Rizwan, Waqas Hussain, Kashan Admani, Alex Shahbaz, Emad Rehman among others.

The song has been composed by musician and producer Kashan Admani.

“I created the song with the intention to instill a feeling amongst the privileged community to think of underprivileged children as their own,” said Admani. “These children can’t afford quality education and they are the country’s future.”

Admani worked with The Citizens Foundation to raise awareness about the number of students out of schools in Pakistan.

Estimates suggest that there are almost 23 million children out of schools in Pakistan.
