Neighbours gather their weapons to fight thieves breaking into a Lahore jewellery store

A group of thieves tried to break the padlocks on the shutters of a jewellery store in Lahore’s Sundar neighbourhood Friday night. But when they were ready to flee, they were met with an unpleasant surprise — neighbours and police had gathered ready to do battle. The owners of the store saw the thieves breaking in via their CCTV system and alerted the police. Their neighbours also came out, armed and ready to fight the thieves. They were caught red-handed and arrested.
