‘Good Agricultural Practices’ was the theme of the Open Day of Grammar School, Senior Section, Chaklala branch that was held here. The issues that were addressed in the presentations done by students were the growing food insecurity in the country, the lack of water and soil management, etc.

The solutions that were offered, ranged from transforming the agricultural practices into modern ones, such as hydroponics, agroponics, drip irrigation and large scale organic farming. Recommendations were made for developing better farming practices all of which could be facilitated by government policy.
