ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA) will lift out a extensive consult of industries in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) in 2017 to magnitude a turn of industrial pollution.
According to sources in Ministry of Climate Change, a Pak-EPA conducts surveys of a industrial area in ICT from time to time.
An Initial minute consult was conducted in 1999 and after on, another consult of marble and steel industries was instituted in 2015 and 2016 respectively for collecting updated information of steel units, as per an sequence released by a Supreme Court.
Survey of vital industrial towns to consider industrial wickedness was carried out in Hub and Quetta in 2016. This consult will be hold again in 2017 by a Provincial Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). During 2016, underneath a “Environmental Profile of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa” project, air, H2O and dirt research of some vital cities including Peshawar, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Mardan, Abbottabad and Mingora were finished by a provincial EPA.
