Pakistan Post to celebrate World Post Day 

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Post has decided to celebrate World Post Day in a dignified manner like previous years. 

World Post Day is celebrated every year on 9th October. Pakistan Post being a member of Universal Postal Union (UPU) also celebrates World Post Day. Due to Covid-19, this year the celebration of World Post Day has been kept to the minimum and is going to be held on 8th October (today). 

The UPU flag will be hoisted at Directorate General Pakistan Post G-8/4, Islamabad and the message of the Director General Universal Postal Union will be read in a simple ceremony in which officers and staff of Pakistan Post will participate, while observing SOPs of COVID-19. 

Similar UPU Flag hoisting ceremonies will also be held in offices of Postmasters General, Unit Officers and GPOs all over the country at 10:00 am.
