ISLAMABAD – Pakistan on Saturday reported 1,194 new Coronavirus cases, taking the country’s Covid-19 tally to 939,931. The country’s death toll climbed to 21,633 after 57 more people succumbed to the deadly disease in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, 2,038 patients recovered from the deadly disease in a day, taking the total recoveries to 875,581. According to the NCOC, total active Covid-19 cases across the country were reported to be 42,717. According to the NCOC, Sindh reported 583 new Coronavirus cases, 16 deaths during the past 24 hours. As many as 583 new cases took the tally to 327,587. With 16 more deaths, the death toll jumped to 5,236. Punjab reported 204 new Covid-19 cases and 22 more deaths. With 204 new cases during the past 24 hours, the provincial tally rose to 343,703. At least 22 more patients succumbed to the pandemic as the total death count reached 10,479. At least 321,422 patients have recovered from the deadly virus as of yet, with 510 people recovered in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, Covid claimed two more lives in AJK. The region also reported 48 more infections. As 48 more people contracted the novel Coronavirus during the last 24 hours, the tally rose to 19,723. According to the official statistics, two more patients succumbed to the virus, lifting the death toll to 562 in the region.
