ISLMABAD: A fresh westerly wave is currently affecting Balochistan and is likely to persist over upper parts of the country till Monday (night).

Weather Forecast for Sunday (Night):

Widespread rain-thunderstorm and snowfalls over the hills (with isolated heavy falls) accompanied by gusty winds is expected in Balochistan (Zhob, Sibbi, Nasirabad, Kalat divisions),while at scattered places in Multan, Bahawalpur,Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad divisions,upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.Rain-thunderstorm is also expected at isolated places in Quetta and Sahiwal divisions.Heavy falls may generate flash flooding in local nullah/riverine in Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi and Kalat divisions.

Weather Forecast for Monday:

Widespread rain/thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls) associated with gusty winds (snowfall over hills) is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faislabad divisions), Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.Heavy rain may trigger land slides in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country.However, rain occurred at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Makran, Kalat, Sibbi, Larkana Sukkur divisions, while at isolated places in Karachi and D.G khan divisions.
