KARACHI: PTI Chairman Imran Khan says that the future of Pakistan rests in the hands of the younger generation.
He was addressing students in front of the Silver Jubilee Gate of the University of Karachi on Wednesday.
Imran said that there should be adequate investment in the country’s youths so that Pakistan could make a rapid headway in the comity of nations.
He told the students that they are very lucky and privileged as they are acquiring higher education and aim high to do something for the cause of the society and the country. `Your aim should be to become Shaheen of Allama Iqbal’, he added.
The PTI chief also spoke about the dynamic personalities of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who inspite of ill health in later part of life continued and accomplished the mission of creation of Pakistan, and that of Nelson Mandela of South Africa who remained in jail for 27 years in his struggle.
He was of the view that if he came to power he would carry out reforms, generate country’s revenue, curtail expenditure, reform the system of governance and avoid taking foreign loans.
