PCB Chairman Najam Sethi resigns from his post

“I was watchful for a new Prime Minister to take promise before submitting my abdication as PCB Chairman, that we have finished today. we wish PCB all a best and wish a cricket group goes from strength to strength. Eid Mubarak. Pakistan Zindabad,” Sethi pronounced in a summary to his 2.6 million supporters on Twitter.

Sethi was nominated to a Board of Governors of a Pakistan Cricket Board (as per a Pakistan Cricket Board Constitution of 2014 authorized by a ICC and Supreme Court of Pakistan) by ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from 2014-2017 and afterwards again from 2017- 2020 by ex-Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

“I was unanimously inaugurated Chairman PCB in Aug 2017 by all 10 members of a BoG for a three-year tenure finale in 2020. we trust we have served a means of cricket diligently,” Sethi pronounced in his abdication minute sent to a Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“In sequence to promote your objectives in a seductiveness of Pakistan cricket, we hereby contention fondle abdication as Chairman of PCB and Member of the BoG,” he added.
