Former Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief minister and PTI leader Pervez Khattak submitted an unconditional apology to the election commission for using foul language.

Khattak had used foul language against supporters of the PPP during his election campaign and the ECP had taken notice of it.

The former K-P chief minister’s lawyer told the election commission bench on Wednesday that his remarks were unintentional.

The chief election commissioner asked the lawyer if he had heard what Khattak had said. The lawyer replied that he did not know which speech the election commission had taken notice of.
