PIMS put on high alert

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences has been put on high alert due to the prevailing security situation in the city.

The hospital administration issuing a high alert has directed five departments to make special arrangements.

The notification issued said that it is circulated for information and strict compliance in view of strike in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Therefore, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences will remain on high alert. 

All necessary arrangements may be made to cater to emergency situation.

It also said that all heads of clinical departments are directed to make necessary arrangements in this regard. The departments asked to make special arrangements include General Surgery Department, Neuro Surgery Department, Orthopaedic Department, Emergency and Accident Center, and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
