PM Khan arrives in Iran for two-day official visit

Prime Minister Imran Khan will be heading to Iran for a two-day official trip today (Sunday).

He will be meeting Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani during his visit.

He will be engaging in one-on-one talks with the president in Mashhad. He will also meet Khamenei, with whom he will discuss challenges being faced by the Muslim community and the end of terrorism.

He will also address the Iranian business community. This is his first trip to Iran since taking office. He is scheduled to return to Pakistan at 11pm on Monday.

Before leaving the country, however, the premier is scheduled to meet the Hazara community in Quetta.
