Police offer Rs 0.5mn for anyone who can identify Karachi knife attacker
KARACHI: Police on Sunday announced a reward of Rs 500,000 for anyone who would identify the Karachi knife attacker.
Karachi police made public some images of the Karachi knife attacker that were grabbed from a CCTV footage.
In one of the pictures, the suspect can be seen coming up behind a woman and getting ready to attack her with a sharp weapon.
The woman can be seen in another picture trying to protect herself from the attack. According to information disclosed by police, the suspect is aged between 20-29 years and stands five feet and seven inches tall.
IG Sindh claimed that the first three incidents of women getting attacked were not reported. He further said that the suspect belonged to the area and was well aware of all its routes.
In the last two days, twenty-five persons were taken into custody but after questioning, were cleared of any charges and released.
