Police redeem 5 tonnes of drugs during raid in Manghopir

KARACHI: Police foiled a drug-smuggling bid and recovered over 5 tonnes of drugs during a raid nearby Northern Bypass in a area of Manghopir Monday night.

According to police, it is estimated that a recovered drugs are value several millions.

The drugs were being smuggled to Karachi in a mini truck, pronounced police.

The mini lorry was pressed with 274 cartons filled with over 5,000 kilogrammes of drugs, value some-more than Rs200 million.

Police were incompetent to make any arrests during a raid.
