Polling underneath approach for by-election on Punjab Assembly chair PP-168

The chair was vacated by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) personality Khawaja Saad Rafique, after he was inaugurated as a member of a National Assembly.

PML-N has fielded Rana Khalid Qadri as their claimant while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Malik Asad Ali Khokhar is contesting for a seat.

Pakistan Peoples’ Party has announced to support PML-N in a by-poll.

According to a Election Commission of Pakistan, there are 126,912 purebred electorate in a subdivision with 83 polling stations set adult for voters.

Rangers’ participation has been requested while a army is on standby.
