ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Raza Rabbani on Wednesday slammed a Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for refusing to yield names of those concerned in a delimitation of constituencies.
It is opposite a manners to secrete “information by any ministry, division, dialect or any organization functioning underneath a Constitution” from a Parliament, Rabbani settled in a press release, adding that it is “unacceptable” that a Commission is not providing names of those concerned in delimitation.
He pronounced that it is also unsuitable that certain officials are refusing to attend a parliamentary cabinet on delimitation.
“For democracy to develop and institutions to be strengthened, it is required that intra-institutional jurisdictions are respected,” a former Senate authority added.
