Rabiul awwal 12: Processions cap peacefully in Pindi
RAWALPINDI: Eid Miladun Nabi was distinguished with eremite enthusiasm and normal fervour in a castle city on Monday with several Milad processions flitting by a city.
The celebrations started early in a day as internal Milad committees organized processions consisting of vehicles flashy with colorful flags, boards, and models of holy mosques in Makkah and Madina.
Locals had set adult floats along a routes of a processions. Young and aged comparison were perched on these floats and were reciting naat.
The organisers of a stages also gave divided awards such as trophies to a Milad committees for carrying out a biggest and many pleasing processions. Children participating in naat competitions were also given awards.
Further, people had set adult stalls to discharge food such as rice and candy to participants of a processions.
