  • October 28, 2017

MULTAN: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad slammed the Sharifs in a charged speech on Friday, instructing his followers to get ready to ‘drag them out of their palaces’.

In an impassioned speech in Multan, the AML chief said that corrupt and commission-hungry rulers had been imposed on a nation that earned its wages through hard work.

“These people (Sharifs) are the products of the lands of the British,” he said. “They used to bathe the dogs of the English,” he added.

Sheikh Rashid lashed out at former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, stating that he had been disqualified since 40 years but had not allowed his younger brother Shehbaz Sharif to take over the reins of the party.

Sheikh Rashid said that it was time for the nation to get ready to ‘drag them (Sharifs) out of their palaces’.
