KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that political leadership in Sindh is absolutely corrupt, Samaa reported.

Speaking to media in Karachi on Wednesday, Khan claimed that the money, allocated for development projects in Sindh, is being sent outside the country. He blamed former president of Pakistan and current President of Pakistan People’s Party – Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari of sending money abroad.

“The poor sewerage system and broken roads are the results of the corrupt practises in the provinces,” Khan said.

He urged the Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to take notice of corruption taking place in Sindh.

He further said that that Sindh is the most backward province of Pakistan.

He said that 480 million gallon of stagnant waters is getting mixed into the rivers.

Karachi’s biggest issue is stagnant and contaminated water.

He further said that PTI, if being elected into power in Sindh, claimed that he will come up with the best administrator for resolving the issues of the province.

He said that PTI will stage its next public meeting in Sindh on 5th November 2017.

He added that the issues cannot be resolved by just improving the local bodies system nor will the privatization of state institutions make the situation any better.

He also said that the party tickets for the 2018 general elections will be given after careful consideration.
