This Bollywood film to release in China
Bollywood film Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to release in China, director Kabir Khan announced through a social media post.
The movie minted over Indian rupee 300 crores in the domestic market and will now release in over 8000 screens next month.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan was directed by Kabir Khan and also starred child artiste Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. In the movie, Salman essayed the role of Pawan aka Bhajrangi who goes to lengths to reunite an estranged Munni (Harshaali) with her family in Pakistan.
Speaking of Salman, according to the makers, Tiger Zinda Hai is his Salman’s biggest hit so far.
Salman said in a statement: “I hope the industry has many more bigger successes this year. It is important that we see more hits, more blockbusters. It will expand our industry, provide more jobs for people and entertain audiences much more. I’m happy with the business that Tiger Zinda Hai has been doing at the box office.”
“Records are never ever-lasting. Records are meant to be broken and it’s good for new records to happen more frequently. It is healthy and extremely important,” he added.
It will be interesting to see if Salman would be able to replicate the same success in China as Aamir Khan did. It can be recalled that Dangal had a phenomenal success in China becoming the highest grosser Indian film in the country.
