Tremors jar top tools of country
ISLAMABAD/PESHAWAR: Earthquake tremors jolted several tools of a nation late Saturday.
Tremors were felt in Islamabad and adjoining areas, tools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and a Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
According to a Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a trembler was available during 5.9 on a Richter Scale.
The trembler struck during a abyss of 38km and a epicentre was Hindu Kush segment in Afghanistan, PMD said.
The tremors were felt in Dir Bala, Lower Dir, South Waziristan.
Reports of jolts in Bajaur Agency, Abbottabad, Mansehra were also received.
Other cities influenced by a trembler embody Balakot, Malakand Agency, Chitral, Lahore, Kasur, Parachinar, and Shangla.
No detriment of life or skill was reported.
