Two judges have recused themselves from the Imran Khan disqualification case

Two judges of the Islamabad High Court recused themselves from hearing the Imran Khan disqualification case on Wednesday.

The Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party had approached the court, stating that the PTI chief was not sadiq (truthful) and ameen (honest) for withholding information about his alleged daughter, Tyrian White, and, hence, should be disqualified from holding public office.

On Wednesday, Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Miangul Hasan recused themselves from hearing the case. “Another bench will hear the case,” remarked Justice Farooq.
