Zardari admitted to changing sunroof on BB’s vehicle: Safdar Abbasi
KARACHI: Former Pakistan Peoples Party worker and leader Safdar Abbasi said on Friday that former president Asif Ali Zardari himself had admitted to changing the sunroof on his slain wife Benazir Bhutto’s vehicle.
Speaking exclusively to SAMAA TV, Abbasi said that a game had been played with the murder cases of Benazir Bhutto and Mir Murtaza Bhutto.
“Everything would have been made clear had an audit of Benazir Bhutto’s BlackBerry been conducted,” he said. “But why was the BlackBerry kept for three years?”
He also questioned why the police officer investigating the Benazir Bhutto murder case was honoured with privileges.
His replies come in the wake of damning allegations by former army chief Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf, who alleged that Zardari was behind the assassination of Benazir Bhutto and Mir Murtaza Bhutto.
Musharraf blamed Zardari for the destruction of the Bhutto family, stating that he had Benazir murdered in collusion with militant Baitullah Mehsud.
