KARACHI: The final turn of a conflict for a Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final starts now as WAPDA take on SSGC while HBL face UBL.
The final turn of a Super Eight theatre will act as a practical semi-final for a 4 teams, who are now a tip dual from both groups.
QAT top-scorer Kamran Akmal, who captains WAPDA, is assured going into a make-or-break clash. “We have played a day and night compare with a pinkish kookaburra and we won that too so we are confident of winning this compare as good as a day-night final,” pronounced Kamran, who has scored 826 runs in only 7 matches.
The Fawad Alam-led SSGC will be looking for some-more heroics from their top-scorer Asif Zakir, who has 811 runs in 8 matches and was also a top-scorer final season. “I have been doing my best for a team,” pronounced Zakir. “We all have to hang to a plan and perform accordingly to validate for a final as WAPDA are a tough side.”
