Crackdown: 18 arrested; drugs, wine seized
SARGODHA: Police claimed to have arrested 18 suspects, including 9 admitted offenders, and seized narcotics and bootleg weapons from them on Friday.
In an ongoing crackdown opposite criminals, military teams of opposite military stations conducted raids within their particular jurisdictions and arrested 9 accused.
Police also claimed to have recovered over 6.5 kilograms of hashish, 30 bottles of liquor, dual pistols and dual 12-bore shotguns along with bullets and cartridges.
The indicted were identified as Talib Hussain, Muhammad Farooq, Afzaal Ahmad, Omer Shahzad, Waqas Ahmad, Shahid Imran, Faisal, Muhammad Ramzan and Adil.
The military also arrested 9 admitted offenders and absconders wanted to opposite iniquitous crimes, including robberies, murders and attempts to murder.
