KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Karachi, arrested on Tuesday an officer of a Karachi Development Authority (KDA) for his purported impasse in china-cutting.
The accused, Muhammad Shakir alias Shakir Langra, son of Muhammad Shafi, was taken into control during a raid in Federal B Area.
According to NAB, Karachi, spokesperson, a indicted chairman is nominated in anxiety No 46/2016, adding that Shakir was nominated along with 14 other KDA officers and private persons for impasse in bootleg allotments and china-cutting in Surjani Town.
The orator serve pronounced that a indicted was charged of creation bootleg allotments and eliminated files to emanate 281 residential plots on 14 amenity areas of Surjani Town by china-cutting.
Later, these plots were sole to private persons, causing detriment of Rs168 million to a inhabitant exchequer, combined a spokesperson.
