A Kashmiri male whose legs were cut off by Indian confidence army in doubtful domain wants a UN to examine a tellurian rights violations in a region.

Qalandar Khatana became a member of a organisation called ‘Survivors for Truth and Justice’ final month, that comprises victims of passionate attack and Kashmiri families who’ve faced enforced disappearances and municipal killings in a valley.

The victims contend they attempted all means of pacific criticism in their onslaught for probity though not even a singular box was resolved and a rejection of probity left them dispirited.

Khatana’s woe started in a 1990s after militancy erupted in assigned Kashmir. Living in one of a 5 villages nearby a Line of Control, rapid militarisation and dispute had an inauspicious impact on a life of residents of a region.

One night in 1992, Khatana was dragged divided by a Border Security Force crew to a stay from his home during Mori. He was hold and indicted of being a beam who helped militants opposite a border.

“They kept interrogating me, violence me, even unresolved me upside down,” he says.

Khatana recalls how he was afterwards taken from one stay to another and tortured by a BSF and Special Task Force personnel.

He says they would take him atop a towering and hurl him down a slope. He was also hold in unique capture besides forced to do tough labour.

He returned home too fearful to proceed a military or record any censure and totally devastated.

“I was terrified. It was roughly as if it had been drummed into me that we had no rights to life. we wasn’t certain if we would be authorised to live even after my release.”

Khatana’s worries were strong when he learnt his mother was also tortured. She was kicked vigourously in a chest that left her with damaged ribs. Khatana’s mother remained cramped to her bed until her genocide a few years later, withdrawal him with dual girls and a boy.
