SEOUL: North Korea announced Sunday it had incarcerated a US citizen for “hostile acts” — a second detain in a fortnight of an American as tensions arise between Pyongyang and Washington.
Kim Hak Song was incarcerated on Saturday, a state news group KCNA reported. “A applicable establishment is now conducting minute review into his crimes,” it added.
It pronounced Kim had worked for a Pyongyang University of Science and Technology (PUST), as had a US citizen incarcerated final month.
