Hot New Hip Hop said today that even before Jeezy and Gucci began their rap battle on Verzuz this week, there were already one million people watching the show.

Fans in the comment section – who had been waiting for more than an hour for the show to start – discussed whether the two rappers would even be able to get through the performance without getting into a fight. Gucci started with a diss-track in which he put Jeezy on blast.

In other words, Jeezy and Gucci Mane wound up reconciling after all, but many fans wondered if the feud had just been hyped up from the beginning. Fans began to call for other rappers to put their beef behind them, including people like 50 Cent and Ja Rule.

As most know, Ja Rule and 50 Cent have feuded for a long, long time. The pair of rappers first started trashing each other in the early 2000s during a time when Ja Rule was at the height of his fame, as was Eminem and 50 Cent.
