Jessica Simpson – Here’s Why His Reaction To Her Memoir Didn’t Affect Her And Why She’s Not His Biggest Fan!

As you may know, John Mayer reacted to the stories about him that his ex, Jessica Simpson, included in her new memoir. However, it turns out that she couldn’t care less about what he had to say!

The singer is actually not a big fan of her ex but that’s not to say she let his words get to her.

She was also not surprised he had something to say regarding ‘Open Book,’ which is the title of her tell all.

As for the insider report that she is not affected at all, she has a good reason why that is the case.

John Mayer previously admitted to hearing bits and pieces of the stories that she wrote in the memoir about their time together.

He shared this while on Watch What Happens Live just a few days ago.

However, as mentioned before, Jessica is not wasting her time on this.

After all, she already expected to get a public reaction from him.

The source dished via HollywoodLife that ‘Jessica is paying no real attention to what John Mayer says about her book to Andy Cohen. That’s so in the past for her and she’s very happy with the life she leads now. Of course she knew that he would maybe read it or at the very least hear about it, but she told her side of the story and truth and that’s what this book was about to her. It’s not about John’s thoughts.’

‘After all, she’s not John’s biggest fan anymore. She’s aware of what John said to Andy, but no matter what he says it won’t get to her.’

John previously said that, while he stumbled upon some ‘bits’ of the story, he did not read his ex’s book, explaining that he just didn’t feel like he needed to.

He told Andy Cohen that: ‘I’ve heard some bits. But as Pee Wee Herman says in Pee Wee’s Big Adventures before the movie of his life’s about to play out at the end, he is not watching the movie — and the reason he is not watching the movie, he says, ‘I do not have to watch it, Dottie, I lived it.’ And I think that is prescient here.’
