Katy Perry Confesses There Is ‘Friction’ Between Her And Orlando Bloom Even As They Get Ready To Welcome Baby!

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are not only engaged and on their path to the aisle but they are also expecting their first baby together! However, the singer admitted that things between them are not always perfect.

Katy confessed that there is ‘friction’ within their relationship during a chat with Ryan Seacrest on On Air.

After confirming that they are going to become parents this upcoming summer, Katy Perry is also revealing more details about her romance with actor fiancé Orlando Bloom.

‘I’m glad I have been able to come out of the other side of this journey that’s almost been twelve years of being in the spotlight and I am really profoundly grateful that I am not hooked on drugs or I am not a huge alcoholic. I have my head on my shoulders. I have compassion for anyone that is going through that, but being in the industry will turn you into an insane person if you let it,’ she told the host during the radio interview.

The songstress mentioned that the Pirates of the Caribbean star has helped her turn into her best self in addition to her own parents instilling Katy with a ‘golden compass.’

But that’s not to say that her relationship with Orlando is without its flaws.

She admitted that ‘There’s a lot of friction between my partner and I. But, that friction breeds something beautiful. It can breed a lot of light.’

As you may have heard, Katy is currently expecting her first child with the actor, and she was happy to finally stop hiding her baby bump.

‘OMG so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore. Or carry around a big purse lol,’ she tweeted yesterday, not too long after confirming the news.

Indeed, fans have seen Katy use pretty creative ways to conceal her midsection in recent weeks, every time she was caught on camera in public.
